Research Profile

I am an economist with an academic background in finance, focusing on the use of textual methods in research related to financial economics. As part of the model transfer project, I explore how concepts and methods from disciplines such as physics and mathematics are transferred into and adapted by financial economics. My research investigates how these cross-disciplinary transfers shape the development of financial theory and drive methodological innovation within the field. To this end, I employ a range of empirical and computational techniques, including natural language processing and network analysis.

Contribution to Model Transfer

Within the MODEL TRANSFER project, my research focuses on the migration of models and concepts from other disciplines into financial economics. I investigate how concepts like the Brownian Motion  are adapted to address questions in finance, and how their meanings and functions shift in the process. I am particularly interested in how textual and computational methods—such as natural language processing and network analysis—can help trace and analyze these model transfers. More broadly, my work explores how methodological choices and disciplinary contexts shape the way models are interpreted, implemented, and institutionalized within financial economics.
